N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageJo Ann (the vice principal) is a bully and demonstrates passive aggressiveness towards other adults, which creates a very toxic environment. The principal doesn't even respond to emails or phone calls. The teachers are nice and seem to genuinely care about the kids. If the administration fails, how can the school function? This place is setting itself up for a potential lawsuit in the near future with this "I don't give a care" mentality.Other Review1mo ago - Pattengill School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe adored our 1 year at Bryant (Moves to the neighborhood with the youngest going into 2nd) and subsequent 3 years at Pattengill. If we had another child we would absolutely make full use of both schools again!Parent Review3y ago - Tappan Middle School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is amazing! The community is great, the teachers are supportive, the admins are excellent! My experience has been nothing but outstanding! I would 100% recommend TMS! There are great course offerings (ie 4 languages, band, orchestra, choir, music tech, multiple PLTW courses, visual art classes, advanced math offerings, and others), many great clubs (ex. GSA, Newspaper Club, Yearbook Club, Graphic Design & Apparel, Tutoring, and many more! Tappan also has many sports teams, including basketball, soccer, track, cross country, synchronized and competitive swimming, baseball, softball, tennis, and others! 2 things I would like to correct from the above page are: a) we have a new principal, Dr. Tyese Parnell, as Dr Heyward has taken a new job in AAPS, b) while the only music options available for 6th & 7th grade are band, orchestra, and choir, Jazz Band is also offered in 8th grade, andc) we actually have 4 world language courses - German, French, Spanish, and Latin.Student Review1y ago - Pioneer High School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI like this school, though it could use some renovations b/c it looks pretty run down. This is understandable though because it's such an old school. Other than that, the school is pretty good.Student Review2y ago - Clifford E. Bryant Community School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI feel so lucky my son goes to Bryant (currently in K), as it really has a sense of community and I’m so impressed by the positive culture for learning there. Mr. Jamar Humphrey is an amazing Principal and leader, he handled an issue with my son so thoughtfully and professionally with the goal of helping him learn the right thing to do. My son comes home and most days he says “I love learning,” and sings the Bryant school spirit song every night. As a White parent, I am so glad my son has classmates from so many different socioeconomic backgrounds and ethnicities. When we moved to Ann Arbor to one of the expensive neighborhoods I was shocked that parents would choose another school rather then gift their kids the opportunity to go to a neighborhood school that’s so rich in so many ways. This was a few years ago now and I believe very few people in the neighborhood do school of choice. However, if there is a parent who is looking to send their kid to Bryant, I can think of only one family out of the 15-20 I know from my neighborhood who chose school of choice last year. These 15-20 families all absolutely love Bryant and these are the types of parents who are very educated and the school that their kids go to must be top-notch, which Bryant certainly is.Parent Review1y ago - Check out schools near 860 Victors Way #311.
