I like this school, though it could use some renovations b/c it looks pretty run down. This is understandable though because it's such an old school. Other than that, the school is pretty good.

Posted by a parent on 2/27/2020Both of my children attended Ann Arbor Pioneer all four years of high school. They both got what they put into their education, which I think is true with any school experience. Neither took AP courses, which I believe are overrated and still received a sound education. There is a lot of opportunity

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageJo Ann (the vice principal) is a bully and demonstrates passive aggressiveness towards other adults, which creates a very toxic environment. The principal doesn't even respond to emails or phone calls. The teachers are nice and seem to genuinely care about the kids. If the administration fails, how can the school function?
