A French inspired pied-a-terre in Inman Park! Live in the historic Gatsby Condos located on a quiet street in Inman Park. Just one of 10 units. This is a magnificent unit with soaring 11 foot ceilings, elegant and chic renovations with all new stainless steel appliances in the kitchen. The primary bathroom has Carrara marble throughout the entire bathroom from floor to ceiling. There is also a chandelier. Because what discerning homeowner wouldn't want a chandelier in the bathroom? Original heart of pine floors throughout the unit. Custom shutters also grace all the windows that actually open. There is also a custom designed and built Murphy bed for guests yet cleverly disguised when not in use. Architectural accents abound the unit from dentil moulding, thick baseboards and judge's paneling. The unit is bathed in natural sunlight and has a coveted 6' x 11' storage unit. Krog Street Market and the Eastside Beltline are just down the street. Dine from Kevin Rathbun's Steakhouse to Jeni's Ice Cream. There are plenty of shopping opportunities just steps away. Inman Park hosts the best neighborhood festival of all of Atlanta. Plenty of parking to the side and the rear of the building. The Gatsby is a special close knit community with great neighbors in the complex and the surrounding neighborhood. Don't miss your chance to live in a building oozing with elegance and charm. Open House: Sunday, July 30 from 2-4 pm.

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageHorrible organization and horrible leadership, in unsafe area, horrible bus transportation that doesn't even come half the time with kids missing, tons of bullying and toxic school environment . Prison like yard for lunch and play. Toxic sludge for food. No regular fitness and only 15 minutes of outside time a day with NOTHING but grass and concrete (not even a ball). Aggressive, unprofessional, bullying, raging teaches who treat young kids like they are criminal teenagers. Teachers don't teach and just rely on tech button clicking multiple choice software for their lessons. Kids are treated like robots and allowed to bully other kids, learning best from teachers that a bullying is okay. Hateful place and kids using dr*gs in bathroomsParent Review1mo ago - Midtown High School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI attended Grady for two years (junior and senior) after attending a DeKalb County high school for two years, and the change was unbelievable. Granted, I took 10 AP classes during my time at Grady so my view is not holistic, but I absolutely loved my two years at GHS. I had many, many amazing teachers (notably Nichols for AP Calculus and Pope for AP US History), and I was heavily involved with the school's theatre and chorus programs. Grady students are very passionate about their interests (of which there are many), and the growing culture of academic competitiveness did wonders for my grades. That being said, the administration is kind of a mess and the school is not without its problems, but if you don't go looking for trouble you probably won't run into any.Other Review6y ago - Springdale Park Elementary School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI had to ask around because I never encountered a school environment that was more catty or passive aggressive. The school was dedicated to moving blame and doing as little as possible. The principals and their inner circle act like high school bullies and it is uncomfortable. My child was getting punched and bullied. When I expressed concern to my child's teacher, the teacher was reprimanded, and my child continued to be harassed. It is unbelievable that my child's education was severely impacted at such a young age, and the only person punished was the teacher who tried to help us.I do not understand why students with behavior problems, who take away from other children's learning, get priority and get to avoid consequences. This school is a glowing example of toxic Yuppie culture, and handholding to make bad families feel good about themselves. The school and principals may look bright and shiny, but they work hard to hide their toxicity and no-discipline policies.Parent Review11mo ago - Check out schools near 826 Dixie Ave NE #4.
