This staycation home in the much-desired Chartwell Community is a rare find and will exceed all your expectations. This home must be viewed to appreciate all the quality and attention to detail. Top of the line upgrades exist throughout this fantastic property, both inside and out. Love to entertain, or have a passion for cooking? This chef’s dream kitchen is set up with both in mind. Your biggest challenge while preparing your favorite meals will be deciding whether you admire the custom-built woodwork surrounding the fireplace in the great room, OR, gazing through the keeping room window to view the massive cascading waterfall within the perennial terraced gardens, surrounded by a flagstone patio and elevated firepit area. No expense or detail has been overlooked in creating this lush, professionally landscaped outdoor space filled with beautiful softscapes and a Trex deck-system with both a covered area perfect for sipping your coffee as the sun rises in the morning, or enjoying a movie-night. Adjacent to the covered porch is an open area for relaxing in the sun while listening to the sounds of nature. The hands-free waterfall is a separate part of the sprinkler system, and water levels are maintained through your cell phone app. The flagstone patio leads you by the custom-built gazebo to the covered terrace level which overlooks the playground area, which also has the potential for an inground pool. The upper level of the home consists of a spacious owners retreat complete with sitting room, oversized jacuzzi tub, and walk-in closet. Three bedrooms and two full bathrooms, plus an office/bonus room complete the upper level. Guest Bedroom with full bath on main level, and 6th bedroom with full bath on the terrace level. In addition to the custom kitchen there is a large dining room across from a sitting area with new cabinets, great room with fireplace, and plenty of natural light adorning the home on the main level. Daylight terrace level provides fantastic space with a separate sitting area, wet bar, billiard area, wine cellar, and playroom/bonus room. New roof, new windows throughout, new UV home air purification system, and dual water heaters have transferable lifetime warranty. Substantial storage space is available in the lower level. Amazing location next to Newtown Park and easy access to GA 400. Within 10 minutes to Northpoint Mall, Avalon, and downtime Alpharetta. Make this gem your new home!. Short distance to private schools including Mt Pisgah (K-8) and Holy Redemener (K-8).

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI would not recommend this school, administration barely recognizes and help students with comments or needs, this school is looking like it is about to collapse with holes in the walls, thin walls, the smell and the air is no joke disgusting. The teachers are ok (some are alright some are bad) are boring and barly pay attention to their students. This school also barly has any fun events in or out of school to get the kids motivated. There are too many stupid rules that the children must fallow. In conclusion I highly do not recommend this school.Parent Review3mo ago - Centennial High School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageLearning:It is a rarity you will find students who are motivated to learn. The pressure put on grades only stuns students' growth and numbers are always the focus. Because the grading system is based on statistics without any kind of consideration for outside pressures or circumstances. Teaching:Teachers are very much a gamble. Some are wonderful and are always willing to support students while others, I'd say a good 60%, have no consideration for students' actual education or well-being. There seems to be a tense relationship between admin and teachers as well. Social-emotional support:Posters are posted around the school of school-based resources for students but as a former student myself... no help whatsoever. There is a MASSIVE equity problem in Cen10 that is never addressed and always ignored. Ask admin or teachers about how a new policy may be discriminatory the blame is shifted to someone else.Special Education:The biggest issue with the Special Education classrooms in Centennial is the lack of integration with the rest f the school. All the classes are clumped together at the end of the school in one low lit hallway. There is no effort to socialize the students. There are no opportunities for students to help or support Special Education classrooms. Seperate from the Special Education classrooms but in the same realm, there are several students with learning disablities or mental illness that are never taken into consideration when tracking their progress in the academic setting.Safety:Fights and threats are common but usually not really an issue between students as its kinda the norm, which of course says a lot about the overall culture in the school. However, I was at Centennial when there was a stabbing in the cafeteria. The cafeteria was not dismissed, people who witnessed it noted the lack of urgency in teachers responses, the school did not go to a lockdown despite that being the school policy. Class continued as usual that day and my group were the next in the cafeteria and they acted as nothing had happened.Family Engagement:There is rarely positive communication between school and parents. If your parents heard something from the school its bad. Tying this back to the stabbing incident, statements are written and released to parents and the local news. No details are included but false reinsurance of their care is guaranteed.Cen10 has problems like every school but its unique in inaction.Other Review1y ago - Hillside Elementary School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is amazing, we have had the best experience at this school for many years, the staff are so kind as well as the teachers. Events are an ongoing motivating thing and the ones held at this school are great. I would highly recommend this school although many of the good teachers have left, the old staff are always there to provide a great time.Parent Review3mo ago - Check out schools near 782 Hambledon Bnd.

"I have lived in this area for more than five years, my parents have been living here for more than 15 years. It is one of the best areas to live in - although, over priced in comparison to how you feel about this town - not all communities are equal - some are mediocre, some middle of the road, some are affluent and beautiful- there are some which are ridiculously priced for what they offer 👎🏼"
