Ever wish you had a chance to buy that sweet mint green Victorian bungalow in Inman Park by Krog Market? Well now's your chance. This beautiful craftsman has been updated and expanded and had plenty of indoor and outdoor living space right in the center of the best part of the city! A cute gingerbread front porch leads you through the butterfly stained glass front door to a big entry foyer and open living area with high ceilings, and hardwood floors. Two large bedrooms on the main have the original masonry fireplaces. Big open kitchen with plenty of cabinets and huge peninsula breakfast bar opens to keeping or dining room. French doors to large rear deck and verdant private and fenced back yard with mature landscaping, paths, waterfall into active coy pond, and big patio. Open staircase to upper level owner's suite with plenty of space for king bed, sitting area, walk-in-closet, deep storage, and owner's bath. Pantry and travertine bath on main with clawfoot tub. Utility room/laundry off kitchen has staircase to the lower level bedroom suite. Great off street parking in newer driveway, skylights, newer roof and fresh exterior paint. Coveted Inman Park Pool membership available!! This house is in great shape and has so much to offer it's next owner.

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageHorrible organization and horrible leadership, in unsafe area, horrible bus transportation that doesn't even come half the time with kids missing, tons of bullying and toxic school environment . Prison like yard for lunch and play. Toxic sludge for food. No regular fitness and only 15 minutes of outside time a day with NOTHING but grass and concrete (not even a ball). Aggressive, unprofessional, bullying, raging teaches who treat young kids like they are criminal teenagers. Teachers don't teach and just rely on tech button clicking multiple choice software for their lessons. Kids are treated like robots and allowed to bully other kids, learning best from teachers that a bullying is okay. Hateful place and kids using dr*gs in bathroomsParent Review4w ago - Midtown High School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI attended Grady for two years (junior and senior) after attending a DeKalb County high school for two years, and the change was unbelievable. Granted, I took 10 AP classes during my time at Grady so my view is not holistic, but I absolutely loved my two years at GHS. I had many, many amazing teachers (notably Nichols for AP Calculus and Pope for AP US History), and I was heavily involved with the school's theatre and chorus programs. Grady students are very passionate about their interests (of which there are many), and the growing culture of academic competitiveness did wonders for my grades. That being said, the administration is kind of a mess and the school is not without its problems, but if you don't go looking for trouble you probably won't run into any.Other Review6y ago - Springdale Park Elementary School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI had to ask around because I never encountered a school environment that was more catty or passive aggressive. The school was dedicated to moving blame and doing as little as possible. The principals and their inner circle act like high school bullies and it is uncomfortable. My child was getting punched and bullied. When I expressed concern to my child's teacher, the teacher was reprimanded, and my child continued to be harassed. It is unbelievable that my child's education was severely impacted at such a young age, and the only person punished was the teacher who tried to help us.I do not understand why students with behavior problems, who take away from other children's learning, get priority and get to avoid consequences. This school is a glowing example of toxic Yuppie culture, and handholding to make bad families feel good about themselves. The school and principals may look bright and shiny, but they work hard to hide their toxicity and no-discipline policies.Parent Review11mo ago - Check out schools near 750 Lake Ave NE.
