7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageFor being such a good school, academic wise, they have really poor problem handling. Me and some of my friends were severely bullied by a student. But when we told a councilor, they didn't really seem like they cared/believed us. Our parents were never called about it despite it being to the point where parents needed to be called. The bully got away with it and it was brushed off as her being "immature" and that she would "mature" later in life. Teacher wise, the teachers are ok... the adults expect all of the kids to be independent way too much, even when they need an extra boost for their school life. But some teachers are really nice and actually care about the kids. Regarding the students, they can be just rude and disrespectful. We had a culture day last year, and people called me a furry for bringing in stuff from my culture (I'm Native Americanand White) me and my friends are called emo for not dressing in leggings and band tees. If you are LGBTQ, I don't really recommend this school because you get asked weird questions like "what gender do you like?" Or "what do you identify as?" And kids can be really homophobic, and sometimes make racist comments about someone. The band isn't that good either, and the football team. So if you want to get a scholarship with that, I definitely don't recommend this school.Student Review4mo ago

"We have an HOA and they are strict with all rules. This applies to even the type of fences allowed. Our neighbor put in a beautiful rod iron fence and they are fighting it"

"We have a leash ordinance. Nobody follows it, especially the owners with MASSIVE digs who thwyre totally convinced arent as territorial as theyve been warned. If you have a smaller dog (or child), make aure it stays in your yard, or inside the house."

"Many neighborhoods have no sidewalks. So if you want to go for a walk you are in the street. Young kids ride their bikes in the street. It’s dangerous."

"The neighborhood is quiet and friendly. Spring is beautiful with the flowering trees in the devil strips. Have never had any problems with vandalism or crime. Love the "family" feel of living in Tallmadge; it has many family-oriented events and many activities at the circle...including fireworks! Great place to live"
