2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThere's a fair share of not-so-nice people here. But other than that it's pretty okay. Ignoring the bad kids usually does the trick but if they don't leave you alone, the teachers are normally pretty nice and will help you out. The school accepts people of all races, cultures, genders, etc and I feel pretty comfy here than at my old schools. I'm not sure about things like special ed and stuff but from what I've seen, the special needs kids are pretty happy here. The only complaint I have is that the lunches kinda suck. They were pretty good last year but now it's only chicken burgers or pizza. It gets old fast. I would say if they bring back international lunch then the problem will be resolved for the most part. People like to talk trash about the school but honestly, from what I've seen/heard, it's better than all the other high schools in Vancouver. My daughter and sin were both physically assaulted and the staff is resigned to this. I was told by the principal that my expectations were too high and I should look into private school. First of all, They NEED to stop accepting new students because we literally have over a thousand students not counting teachers at our school. And the only way they help it is by changing our schedules to now only having A and B days with 4 periods each day. Second of all, The teachers are the most carefree people in the world. From personal experience, They don’t care if a student is being bullied. All they do is they talk to them and say “don’t do it anymore” and stuff like that. Also, they couldn’t care less about ppl vaping. Literally I never see anyone get caught with a vape. So if you’re thinking about going to this school, DONT. It’s overpopulated and the students suck.
