7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe moved from CCS system to WCS and it was a great move. TWHS provided an excellent academic and athletic experience for our daughter. The teachers are top notch and the administrators were so great through the covid years. We loved TWHS.Parent Review1y ago - Worthington Estates Elementary School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageLike the reviews below, I believe the school does a sub par job. We chose the Worthington School District because it is believed to be a superior school district in Central Ohio, while this may be the case for their high schools, it is not the case for this particular elementary school. While my son attending Kindergarten there, the teacher did not have a very professional approach and was more interested in disciplining than she was to teach. The teacher went as far as to call him a 'liar' when he was trying to explain an incident in front of me. She interrupted him without giving him a chance to make his point all while I was standing there. At that point, I began to question what goes on inside the classroom as my son would say that as punishment she would take 3 minutes from his recess but this was never discussed with me. Bullying was also a slight problem in this school as my son would come home every night and cry himself to sleep, which prompted me to ask if he would say anything to the staff which he would say he would, but it would go ignored or unnoticed. When they had their annual fundraiser he ran on a 90+ degree day and when he asked for water, he was denied the water even though it was extremely hot this particular day. My son was behind even though we read nightly, our decision was to remove him from this school. Once he was removed from this school, he has been nothing but thriving. He caught up right away and his progress was specifically noted to me from an intake of his knowledge that he brought from this school. He is now a 1st grader reading at a 2nd grade level and all by taking him out of this school. Looking back at all of this, it has been the best decision ever taken to remove him from this school district, I am not speaking on behalf of the district as a whole, but this school specifically.Parent Review5y ago - Worthingway Middle School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son started in the school district as a 7th grader in 2020. Everyone at Worthingway is professional & my experience with my son’s teachers so far has been very good. They listen to him, they’re enthusiastic, they seem to really want to be there and enjoy teaching. That wasn’t my experience in his former district. One of his first comments to me about Worthingway was that they respect the kids and for him-and for me-that’s huge.Parent Review2y ago - Check out schools near 6823 Bowerman St W.
