Worthingway Middle School

Both of my kids have a medical condition. This was the first school they attended when we first got to the US, and the experience was beyond amazing. It was such a safe place for them to start their life in a new country, the school staff was incredibly kind and friendly. They made us feel so welcome, they understood the process that we were living at that time. All the teachers were so good to my kids. I’m so grateful for this school, it has a special place in our hearts.

We have 2 students at Colonial Hills Elementary School (CHES). One is highly over achieving for his grade, one has a slight learning disability. Both of them have been given incredibly thoughtful individualized learning plans. While the over achieving child doesn't need as much help he gets great interaction with the EPP teachers. There are at least 3 instructors/specialists helping our other son and they have him performing at grade average now; he was well below grade average in another school district. To be clear, the bar has not been lowered for him, they have just done a wonderful job learning how he learns and applying that knowledge in his lesson plans. This school is GREAT!

This school has an unchecked issue with racism. My child was subjected to the ills of racist rhetoric while attending the school. The administration took no real measures to curve the undesired behavior amongst the children using the language, but hysterically had the nerve to sit my child down with the school counselor for calling another child unattractive for antagonizing mine. 10/10, I simply do not recommend.

This school is incredible. The principal Julie Payne genuinely cares about the students as individuals and has a background in special education. My kiddo is in the SCLC special education classroom. Her intervention specialist Tori Colles is wonderful. She also really cares about these kids and works hard to help them. I’m just really grateful for them both. I highly recommend this school if you are looking for a great elementary school for your children.

My kids all graduated from WC. They loved attending WC and still tell me how influential teachers and administrators were, both academically and spiritually. I am so grateful this is the school we selected for them to attend.
