1/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy name is Marlon, and I graduated from Henry Snyder High School back in 1994, in the school was terrible back then never mind the fact that it was pretty much adjacent to a police precinct. The area was extremely dangerous back then, and it's even worse now. The most I can say is stay away as far as you can from Jersey City, it was a nice place when my grandmother bought her home there in 1981, but around the late '80s and up the place became a cesspool.Parent Review2y ago - Number 34 Elementary School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son transferred to this school in late September and it has been a breath of fresh air! The staff is accessible and polite. They make sure the children experience life outside of the school with regular trips and programs. I almost lost faith in the public school system but so far, this school is great!Parent Review5y ago - Check out schools near 68 Rose Ave.

"Greenville unfortunately is the forgotten district of Jersey City because the mayor loves to focus on east district (downtown) and north district (heights). Even the policing is different."

As well as dog daycare centers so if you need a dog sitter or other etc you are looking a great area if you're interested in this area. Very close to schools and public transportation terminals which is a great thing as well, then there's just great housing overall."

"I love it. I’ve lived here my whole life. I went to grammar school and high school in this Greenville area. It has gotten even better throughout the years and it continues to grow and to excel with time. I recommend my Greenville area to raise your family or to just enjoy the area and atmosphere. I’ve lived here for over 30 years and have no reason to move any time soon. "
