9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is fine. Nothing much better in the area, besides private schools (some of which are arguably much worse). Teachers, depending on class level, subject, individual, are generally good. In my experience, my teachers have cared and know what they’re teaching. It’s fine like it’s normal. Lots of healthy academic competition. If you’re bad at school, this isn’t a good place for you. Not that your looked down upon, but your not at the “average” level of the students here. As most teens are, cliques exist but it’s not that deep. If you’re a kind, chill, not dumb person you should have a problem making friends. So many different types of people, you will find someone who fits you. Drugs are a problem, but it’s south florida. what do you expect? Like it’s a problem but it’s not the schools fault. Olympic has the worst drug issues. Private schools also have tons of drugs, it’s no different. This school teaches a lot about how to deal with people, stress, life overall. You are very prepped for college and how to be a good person. You learn life lessons and academic stuff. It’s a fine school. If your zoned for it, go.Student Review5mo ago - Del Prado Elementary School

10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageTerrible staff. Get your kid in a different school!!!! I have had one too many experience with this school being negative and rude. I have had staff yell at myself and many other parents for not moving the car fast enough while trying to help my children get out of the car. I have witnessed staff close the 8am door in kids faces and say "Oh well your late" nd roll their eyes at the child. I have had a teacher be rude to my son because she had no understanding of my sons sensory issue and why he may run late 5 min in the morning some days. I have had a teacher laugh at my face about how my child is behind. I have had my son not eat lunch items because he says no one is there to help him open his snacks. I have had my daughter witness a staff member saying they cannot tie a child shoe because of cvoid! So a poor child had to take a risk of falling on his shoelaces because a staff member was choosing to be lazy and blame it on cvoid. They listen to a 6 year old over her parent... They sent my daughter home and refused to have her back with not a single symptom of cvoid because my daughter said she had a headache. She has never had a headache her entire life.Parent Review3y ago - Omni Middle School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWell, I guess I am not the only one who has had a terrible experience with this school. My son came from thriving being homeschooled, to basically failing. There is so much bullying, violence, and 0 resources for the students. They are severely understaffed and I signed my son up for multiple different electives and they just kept him in PE forever. I call and email and get no response. The teachers do not communicate with me about how my son is doing. They had a special counselor for my son for basically 1 week and never kept up with it. They waste their time on little things like a student not moving their seat instead of focusing on the real issues like racism and bullying. I regret taking my son out of homeschooling to come to this disgraceful place.Parent Review3mo ago - Village Academy On The Art & Sara Jo Kobacker Campus

"I grew up in what is now the village of Palmetto Bay down in Miami-Dade County. My children went to the public schools in that same area. The area we lived in was very safe and quiet. Boca Raton is on par with that old neighborhood, but without the Miami traffic and crowds."

"Traffic for the most part is very light. Rush hour is never out of control, & dissipates quickly. Heading West in the evening rush hour is probably as bad as it gets, but it’s a welcome relief for someone that moved here from Miami. Miami is the absolute worst!!!"
