6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOur experience with Minadeo has been phenomenal. The administration, staff and teachers are all very intelligent, polite, engaged and work very hard to ensure our children have the best resources and experience at school. They communicate well and often with the school community to keep parents informed and included in school life. Any issues or concerns are addressed immediately and respectfully. We were accepted into a progressive charter school after starting at Minadeo and neither my child nor I wanted to make the switch, we are so happy to be at Minadeo. It is a wonderful experience to know your children are supported, appreciated, safe and expanding their knowledge at school. We have found all of this to be true at Minadeo.Other Review2y ago - Pittsburgh Allderdice High School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageSubstantially pleased with the support my son receives via the "team lead" teacher approach. It certainly facilitates communication between us and the teaching staff, and we have a better picture of his efforts as a student. The student body is diverse, and the atmosphere of the school is generally stable and pleasant.Parent Review7y ago - Pittsburgh Allegheny 6-8

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe school has excellent leadership & teaching staff. I've seen a great deal of improvement in my son's reading ability plus the have a solid instrumental program. The school principal is by far the best I've seen in the two districts my son has attendedParent Review8y ago - Pittsburgh Dilworth K-5

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is phenomenal. We are so fortunate to go here. Our daughter loves school, has made wonderful friends. From the first week the teachers all seem to know every child by name. Students are greeted each morning with an all-school assembly with drumming, singing, a welcome message by the Principal, and the school rock band rocking out. Its a fantastic way to start the day! There are tons of field trips, lots of art and music incorporated into each day. We love it here!Parent Review6y ago - Pittsburgh Sterrett 6-8

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWhat has happened to the foreign language programs? the art program? is there still an instrumental program? Is there a chorus? What happened to the after school program ( some children had music lessons/some had math tutoring from CMU) back in the day of Mr. Berdnik, Sterrett was an exceptional magnet school where learning was challenging, thorough, and exciting. I hope the very best for this school as it helped lay an excellent foundation for my children. I hope the administration, faculty and students regain its heritage of excellence in academics, fine arts, and performance. Many ask, "What happened to Sterrett?"... May better news be soon on the horizon...Parent Review10y ago - Pittsburgh Science And Technology Academy 6-12

"It is about a 5 minute drive to the parkway in Edgewood and/or Squirrel Hill. Easy on and off. Just need to know you normal travel times. If heading downtown in morning, get on in Squirrel Hill and it is about a 5-10 minute drive to Grant St exit. I work 7 pm to 7 am in Monroeville by Forbes and it is normally a 20-25 minute drive. "
