PRICE REDUCED! Take another look at this stunning property that’s been thoughtfully redeveloped from the foundation up. This is an exceptional price for an almost-new home with private swimming pool in the fenced backyard. Designed by Chris Lapp, AIA, this home was conceived with modern living in mind. Step up to the charming flagstone front porch and make yourself at home! Entertaining is a breeze on the main level of this home, featuring a sun-soaked living room, dining room, and kitchen with bay windows, sliding glass doors, and serene views of the resort-like backyard. The kitchen has been outfitted with custom wood cabinetry by Forevermark, white quartz countertops and stainless Bosch appliances. Custom tile work above the 36" Bosch gas range adds to the sleek look of the gourmet kitchen. A large kitchen island allows multiple seating options, in addition to the large dining room. The second level provides three bedrooms with ample closets and a full bathroom with a tub and shower combo finished with custom tile work. The third level provides the homeowner with a welcome and private respite from a busy day. Large glass doors lead to a Juliette balcony overlooking the backyard. The primary suite features a lovely primary bathroom, and a custom walk-in closet; you may never want to leave! One of two laundry rooms is also found on this level (never again mix your lovely things with dog towels and hockey gear!). A spacious family room with wood burning fireplace walks out to the backyard. Go ahead and buy that big, comfy sectional for movie nights … it will fit perfectly in this room! There’s a full bathroom and a custom mud room with washer and dryer, built-ins for storage and a tile floor. This room provides another point of access to the backyard, and it’s the perfect place to access the house after a refreshing dip in the pool! Finally, the lower level has flex space, perfect for a home office, playroom, or exercise room. There’s a fifth bedroom on this level with a large window. Note the quality of work at this property. The home was built by professional craftsmen, using fine products and finishes. The heated pool has been completely rebuilt, including brand new pool equipment. Zoned, high-efficiency HVAC keeps the home comfortable throughout the seasons. Pella doors and windows provide additional energy efficiency. Sited on a quiet, tree-lined street in the desirable Stratton Woods neighborhood of Bethesda, this home provides easy access to all major DMV commuter routes. Stroll down the block to Stratton Park or check out one of the local restaurants or shopping venues. This is truly one of Bethesda’s most convenient neighborhoods!

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAshburton ES is an all around school. In our experience, teachers are all dedicated, knowledgeable , and are very passionate about their students. School admins are very engaging and helpful. Ashburton has one of the best PTAs in the DMV region with tons of programs throughout the year and which offers amazing volunteering opportunities. Last but not least the school building is recently renovated and its facilities are updated to the best standards. My son loves playing in school playgrounds during recess or to checkout books from vast collection of books in the school media center.Parent Review1y ago - Walter Johnson High School

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageReally bad experience for my son. He was introverted and needed support. Social scene awful. Too big. Not enough attention. Academics strong. Emotional and social support terrible. I should have pulled my son out. Tough tough place!Parent Review4mo ago - North Bethesda Middle School

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI personally don't like this school because first they are not strict enough and the students can be mean and bully you. They do have a dress code, but don't enforce it, so what is the point of having it. Some students can be very disrespectful to teachers and their peers. They talk back when they don't like something, they talk bad about other people, and they think it is funny to prank or do their little dirty tricks on people. And sometimes the teachers don't even do anything about it. The school/teachers let the students say bad words. Ok to be fair, teachers are nice, but that does not make up for the other parts. If you are thinking about going to this school, I 100% do not recommend you to go to this school.Student Review9mo ago - Check out schools near 6705 Buttermere Ln.

"Bethesda is a great neighborhood. Unfortunately the small business owners are being pushed out by the the larger corp. that have bought up so much real estate. Rents are very high and commercial rent is as well. Sadly it is slowly losing its neighborhood charm and it will soon look like every other cookie cutter block with all the same large corporation businesses. There is a homeless shelter that’s not well advertised on Cordell ave & Wisconsin Ave so you will see people begging for money on the regular. Great access to I459, the Metro and DC if that’s seen as a plus for you. "

"I have lived in this neighborhood for about 4 years. This is a great area with excellent access to I495, DC and VA. Unfortunately the area is changing. All of the Mom & Pop places are slowly being pushed out and the same old big box companies are moving in. Tons of new building are going up over night here. A bit pricy. It’s a great place put you definitely pay for it. "
