"There are various factors that can contribute to the perception of a place being "bad," including socioeconomic challenges, crime rates, infrastructure issues, and historical factors. It's important to approach such discussions with sensitivity and recognize that communities often face complex issues that require holistic solutions."

"Dog 🐕 owners would love the many public spaces to walk their dogs, they would not like the fact there's little or no designated dog run area. But that can change as long as the need and proper justification are presented to the relevant public officials."

"i’ve been living in the neighborhood for 15 years and it’s not as safe but could be very quiet. there are some people here that clean up after themselves but not"
- Jayvonroberson
- Resident
- 3y ago
"They wouldn’t like the space for them to walk and play freely. They also wouldn’t like how dogs can be treated or how how well dogs are trained in the area. The area has a lot of buildings and traffic so it may be hard for them to truly have fun playing. Also the community is not well kept together so your dog may eat a lot stuff off the ground that is really bad for them."
- Terrell B.
- Resident
- 3y ago
"Irvington is small, but there are some good, some bad, and some decent parts of the town. Wherever Newark borders it, expect bad. If it’s closer to Maplewood, it’s safer. If Union borders or, it’s not great but decent. "
- Tyshonsims

"Potholes everywhere you think I would love to drive in my city but the roads are bad the rent is high for what your getting and much more"

"No matter where you live be careful get a protective dog & alarm system just be careful lock your car doors too people do random car break ins ......................"
- Sdl 2.

"It's quite. people clean their sidewalks, however, people who live elsewhere park their cars, eat whatever and then throw their trash on the side walk. When school is in session, parents park their cars in front your drive way and block you in. when you tell them about blocking your driveway, they curse you out. They have absolutely no respect for where people live."
