"what's nice about the Ridgewood area there are two really different areas east of Bridge Street and West of Bridge Street the section west of Brick Street is in unincorporated Joliet Township which is also known as Joliet. But it's like a Hidden Gem the values have not risen crazy high Pilcher Park Nature Center Highland Park Frisbee golf and bird Haven Park higginbottom Woods are all nearby as well as the Woodruff golf course. Houses don't come up for sale very often and let's hope the values don't creep up to crazy"

"There are neighbors that don’t have their pets on a leash and let them roam the neighborhood pooping on everyone’s lawn or urinating the tires of your car; their pets are out all night barking and don’t let their pets inside despite the cold weather. Recommend having a fence up or you will be picking up feces regularly."

"There is a walking trail that is about 13 miles long with parks at different entrances and this trail goes through forests. Nice to walk your dog. One of the parks at an entrence of the trail is a dog park and it tends to be busy, usually plenty of other dogs there. You do have to pay a fee however to bring your dog here."
