I would recommend it to anybody. it has nice parks. good neighbors and it's always cool. because of the river.     "Ive lived in black rock my whole life and ive seen it go from leaving your doors open to run to the store and nothing was touched to having your house on complete lock down. The parking is a joke. Unless you have a driveway good luck finding a spot. Germain has calmed down some but i wouldnt buy a house here."

    "Neighborhood as all neighborhoods has some bad and good. Will always choose Blackrock area to live. Been here all my life in Buffalo. And has spent the last 23 years in Blackrock. Wegmans and Tops are very close by. Amherst Street is pulling more little businesses. Not a bad place to live. "
