7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy child went to this school last year and I was very unsatisfied. The leadership is very poor. Many of the staff members are older mean, rude and harsh when speaking and disciplining the students. There was only one school safety agent in the whole entire school. Also, the school didn't like parents coming to visit their child in the classroom. There was no extracurricular activities in the school such as basketball, art, dance, steelpan or music. The principal was very unwelcoming, unapproachable and unfriendly. I am so happy my child goes to a better school in another district.Parent Review4mo ago - High School for Public Service-Heroes of Tomorrow

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is a small school and a close-knit community. There is a very experienced teaching staff, and art, theater, and music are available for students (rare in a small, public, school). There are issues with communication between Admin - Staff - Students - Guardians, and because it's a small school, the schedule and options are somewhat limited. Overall, it's a great school that focuses on academics and community service.Parent Review1y ago - New Heights Middle School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI’m in this school and i get bullied non stop. no matter what you do, the teachers do not care if you get bullied. they will say your playing victim and do nothing about it. they would talk about your race for no reason what so ever. i wish i could move schools but i can’t ruin my year this year.Student Review2y ago - Check out schools near 575 Troy Ave.

"There are a lot of public parks to walk your 4-legged bestie. Since many people own dogs everyone takes care to pick up after them. The one thing that a dog owner might not like is that the area is very flat. So there isn’t very challenging terrain."
