6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageExcellent school with parent involvement and wonderful field trips. My two boys are in grades 2 and 4, and have been here since kindergarten. Their teachers have been incredible and care deeply about the students. We’ve received help and support for speech development. The school has many opportunities for students to participate and be involved in a variety of programs. The school district has a lot of problem and poor leadership and arguments with the unions. But thankfully LDV is a strong Community and works hard to support the students despite the district’s issues. "We love this area! It's a little hidden gem. Close enough to Land Park and Downtown but the homes are affordable. Our neighborhood is very quiet. Mangan park is clean and because of it's location, a private little park just for our neighborhood."

"I've lived in this area for 20 years and love it. kind of like a utopia compared to other areas in Sacramento. close enough to Land Park to be enjoyable, but far away enough that the homes are affordable. "
