Description

This is a great 2nd story garage apartment. Updated with new ceiling fans. The inside consists of a large bedroom with a large closet. The bedroom has two entry doors one from the living room and on from the bathroom. The living room and kitchen are one big room similar to a great room and the living room also has an extra closet. The living room and bedroom are controlled with separate Amana high end heat pump through the wall air conditioners. The apartment is about 730 sq ft including screened in porch, heated sq ft is approximately 620 sq ft.

Part of the living room is divided into a small reading room with a built in bookcase, this room is great as a small office too, it is quite tranquil as it leads out to a huge screened porch area of about 110 sq ft (about 8' x 14') overlooking a garden courtyard area. The porch is equipped with a ceiling fan for comfort.

The garden courtyard has tables and chairs, including a couple of lounge chairs and sports shade awnings for outside fun without the direct heat. There are also a couple of grills for the tenants to use. (must be cleaned after every use.) Some of the tenants enjoy growing container plants in this area as well. This area is a great place to gather and meet the tenants.

Tenant Laundry is located on the ground floor in a cover utility area.

We are close to everything, just a block from the interstate, just a few steps to food and entertainment and a couple of blocks to the water. Old northeast is a very desirable place to live and has a lot of charm.

The apartment building has limited off street parking and this unit come with 1 spot unless other arrangements are made.

"Love the amount of dogs here. Dog owners aren’t the friendliest. People do usually pick up after themselves. "

"I've lived in this neighborhood for 33 years, and it's a wonderful place to live with lots of trees, families, dogs oh, and more. It's a 5-minute walk to the waterfront parks, and a 10 minute walk to downtown, with restaurants, museums, the new pier and lots of shops."

"There are many other dog lovers in the area. Most dog leash their dogs. There’s a lady who has a really old lab who walks without a leash but so well behaved. Definitely recommend for dog owners. "

"Best location to St. Pete highlights- downtown, the bay, Central, art, fairs, museums, restaurants, and every convenience."

"There’s no parking or yard space! it’s also flood evacuation zone A. If you have kids and a dog, I wouldn’t recommend buying anywhere in a flood zone. Google pinellas county evacuation zones- you will see parts of st Pete where property is available to purchase outside of the flood zones. These are located on the disston ridge, which is a much better investment in property considering the risk of sea level rise we are facing over the next several decades as you raise your family."

"I’ve lived in this neighborhood for six years, it’s incredible! One can walk downtown to restaurants, bars, nightlife, to the bay, and all the parks, to the pool, the movies. Nearly everything you’d want to do here is easily walkable!"

"Terrific safe neighborhood for kids. Tree lined streets with sidewalks and people drive slowly through the neighborhood, partly because of the speed limit but also because the brick streets (beautiful) slow people down. Easy commute to Shorecrest Prep. Close to the parks on the bay (beach, tennis, pool, ball fields) and Crescent Lake on the other side of 4th St. All this and is isn’t the ‘burbs, but rather a cool urban community with diversity. "

"My fiance and I got lucky and recently bought a great fixer-upper in Old NE. For as long as I can remember, I've wanted to live in this neighborhood and I finally do. I can't recommend it highly enough. We are young (still in our 20s) and although we are the youngest on the block by a couple of decades, I definitely get the sense that the area is slowly becoming infused with younger generations. However it's very family-friendly, and overall consists of a great mix of generally nice, neighborly people. Cab rides to and from downtown are about $6, which makes participating in Downtown's nightlife easy and affordable. Northshore Park is beautiful, with tons of options for outdoor activities, and I almost always see dolphins when I'm down there. There's also a boat ramp nearby. Lately there have been so many things (concerts, markets, events, etc.) going on in St. Pete that we don't have enough time to do them all. There's definitely a cultural revolution taking place here, and I feel like Old NE is right in the middle of it. If you can afford it, I'd recommend this neighborhood to anyone!"
