6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageTerrible communication between parents, teachers, office & school district administrators face to face; great only if online. If you are not one of the stellar performers certain teachers have no time for you. Only exception in my experience was the Kindergarten teachers. Evaluating for "special services" to be funded by state & federal government seem to be most important. Also fund raising seems to be paramount for administrators. If I am asked to continually open my wallet, I would rather my child attend a private school.Parent Review7y ago - Lake Middle School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageLearning-There are a few students who only mess around but most students are here to learnTeaching-The teachers are nice to you if you DO YOUR WORK and BE MATURE( act like a middle schooler, not a rude five-year-old kid.)Social-emotional support-Not really sure. Have not really had any experience with this.Special Education-The school provides to special needs and has helpful tools for this.Safety-The kids are rude and say a lot of curse words in the hall, especially the seventh graders. Also, seventh graders say mean stuff. Also there are a few issues with kids and that are not above:1. the lunch is very bad the 6th graders eat lunch food at breakfast (A lunch is 10:00-10:30)2. School starts too early3. The older kids call the 6th and 7th graders names4. The Cafeteria food has way to much chicken on the menu also not a lot of vegetarian options ):5. Why are there clubs before school, who wants to get up at 6 for a club!!!!Student Review11mo ago - East Ridge High School

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe special education department struggles to do what is right for the child by hiding things from parents. They are controlled by lawyers which our tax dollars pay for. unfortunately, we know from experience.Parent Review7mo ago - Check out schools near 5333 Chapin Ln.
