Middleton Elementary School

We had two children attend this school (one in special education who graduated last year) and were very pleased and impressed by the staff and students there. Very welcoming and engaged staff. Sad to see negative reviews, as this was not our experience at all. The autism program was especially impressive and enjoyed the family activity nights. Highly recommend!

i am completely happy that my kids went here. Across the board i thought they did an excellent job. pre-k is unusually short but the teachers are great.

This school is honestly really bad and I would never recommend it to anyone.There are so many safety problems and it feels like the adults don’t even care or take it seriously. Stuff has happened that should have made them fix things right away, but they didn’t. It’s scary because you’re supposed to feel safe at school, and here you just don’t.It also feels like if people speak up or ask questions, they get in trouble instead of the school actually fixing the problems. That’s not fair at all, especially when it’s about safety.I would absolutely never recommend this school to anyone. If you have a choice, go somewhere else where they actually care about students and keep them safe.

Sub-par music education. Do not send your children here if you care about a quality musical education. Most of middle school choir program is singing contemporary Christian music. Band combines grades 6-12 resulting in extremely low standard of excellence for student musicians. No orchestra option.

A very nice school! Although there are some flaws like the curriculums used, it's overall a really nice place to get your child educated. There is a PTA, Gateway program, and much more that it offers. Really a good elementary school in the district. If there a few less flaws I would compare it with Math & Science Academy or the Wayzata Public Schools district!
