"Nice historic town with a homey atmosphere. My kids went through the school system and it is a good school system, except for the transportation director. my daughter now teaches in the high school. Lived outside of town in a rural housing edition that is safe and friendly. The HOA is overbearing and tedious. "

"Downtown events is the main thing that goes on in Guthrie. Like we have an upcoming Christmas walk, they do all kinds of stuff also the carnival but not much more. "

"Work is 5min away if you drive. I wouldn’t walk in my neighborhood. Kinda bad out we have skunks & other wildlife. Can’t forget about the crack heads they’ll get ya. "

"This area is very much a laid back retreat for those seeking a calm and quiet area to relax. However, it's easy drive to downtown Guthrie helps maintain local entertainment ability for those quick nights out. And Guthrie's overall proximity to Edmond and OKC Metro makes for fun and inspiring evenings to the entertainment districts with more cultural, art and historic sites just a short drive away.
