"McKinney has grown a lot in the 18 years that I have lived here but I think it's still a very safe and happy place to live. Children can play in their front yards and back yards. Neighbors say good morning to each other as they walk by your home. I have been very happy living here. "

"Its like the way neighborhoods used to be before suburban sprawl. Houses are unique. Lots of tall oaks, pecan, and elm trees. There is diversity of race and income. Neighbors are vigilant and friendly with active associations. Churches are also in walking distance. Nightlife is energetic. Many year round festivals. "

It may seem like 30 minutes is a long commute to some of you, but you get a great value for you money and peace of mind, in exchange for a little more driving."
