3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI am frustrated with this school. There are many things happening in this place such as racism, bulling, cleanliness is very poor, the method of mathematics to teach multiplication and division is devastating, stressful and terrible for students, at the beginning of classes they sit students on the dirty floor waiting for the teacher to get to classes. Some books in the library do not have learning content as such and the administration hides and does not solve the problems of bulling. I am writing this review to let parents and the world know that schools in the Lexington 5 district are not the best in SC.Parent Review2y ago - Irmo Middle School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe enrolled in this school for the Escolores Academic Magnet Program. My child’s standardized test scores soared, and his discipline to study for classroom tests also improved. This has been a great experience for our child and family!Parent Review10mo ago - Irmo High School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is an absolute nightmare. It feels like a dark cloud hangs over every corner, and no one seems to care about the torment I go through each day. The teachers and staff turn a blind eye to the bullying that suffocates my existence. It's heart-wrenching to be sitting in the guidance counselor's room, tears streaming down my cheeks, as I desperately beg for someone to do something, anything, about the cruelty I endure. But all they tell me is to 'ignore' the pain and 'be the bigger person.' How can I be expected to carry this burden alone? I've been strong for so long, trying to be the bigger person, swallowing my tears and fears, but the torment never stops. It feels like I'm drowning in a sea of heartlessness and indifference. To make matters worse, the teachers play favorites, glorifying those who disrupt classes, act out, or are popular, while the rest of us are left feeling invisible and insignificant. It's soul-crushing to see how these so-called educators value loudness over empathy, disruption over understanding, and popularity over genuine kindness.Nothing seems to matter to them unless it impacts the school's precious reputation. They turn a blind eye to the horrors of bullying until it's too late – when violence, harassment, and threats loom over the school. It's sickening to realize that our pain only matters when it threatens their image. This school, this place that should nurture and protect us, has become a battleground of pain and suffering. It feels like I'm trapped in a nightmarish world where I'm constantly belittled, dehumanized, and broken.I dream of a place where compassion and empathy reign, where students are cherished for who they are, and their dreams are supported, not crushed. I long for a sanctuary where my cries for help are heard, and my pain is acknowledged. But as of now, this school is nothing more than a heartless, gut-wrenching nightmare, and it's simply not right.Student Review8mo ago - Crossroads Middle School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school the worst of LR5. The teacher doesn't care for the student and her behaviors is rude and nasty. The staff is not friendly that all. The nurse doesn't have the appropriate skills and knowledge . The principal and assistant principal doesn't do nothing about student issues in timer manner. The social worker sent the parents to the DSS for no real reason. I'm glad we changed my child to other school. I recommend each parent check your child discipline record frequently because this school and district use inappropriate criminal vocabulary in his school discipline code as harassment, phisical assault and others. Be prepared because the day you meet the teacher, they not turn the air conditioning on and it is super hot and very unorganized. We experience this last year. This district hide a lot of students issues without involved the police. Be careful parents and always made your research and talk with others parents.Other Review9mo ago - Spring Hill High

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy daughter has thrived at this school. She has done well academically and has not had to worry about bullying or fitting in. Everyone is accepted for who they are. It's right next door to the CATE center which is a huge plus. The teachers are amazing and most communicate weekly with the parents of what is upcoming and expected. My child is coming up on her 4th and final year here. They don't have varsity sports here but you can still participate at the other local high school. You get in by a lottery system.Parent Review11mo ago - Check out schools near 502 Old Saybrook Dr.

"Dog owners who enjoy walking their dogs in the late afternoon, early evenings (after getting home from work/eating dinner etc.), will be pleased to see and pass by SO many other dog lovers and owners, who are out for a stroll with their dog as well, throughout the neighborhood. Seven oaks park is just minutes away & within walking distance from Whitehall, so that’s a great place to take your dog for a good long walk to and from, and they enjoy the trails, woods and such, within the park, as a bonus!"

"This is a mature neighborhood. Its very quiet with a good mix of families of all ages - some young couples, families with children, and retirees. The elementary school is a STEM magnet school. There is a wonderful park with walking trails, extensive sports fields, multiple really nice playgrounds for children of various ages, multiple picnic shelters. The park has a recreation center with a huge number of programs including something for everyone - Mommy and Me, Afterschool Safari and Summer Safari for school age children, a multitude of seasonal sports programs, a large exercise room, exercise classes, social programs, excursions, and lunches for seniors. The area is close to shopping, restaurants, and the interstate. but its also very quiet and peaceful. "

"I live in this neighborhood. I have 5 kids and 5 dogs. Real community with friendly neighbors and wonderful schools. The yards are large so we are not on top of one another yet close enough to be great neighbors. Many kids play outside everyday. In the evening you will see many people out walking their dogs. We are less than a mile from to seven oaks park. Here you will see everything from sporting events to cooking classes. They also offer a wonderful summer camp for kids. Within a 5 mile radius you can be in the heart of down town or swimming and boating at the beach. For military families, its a 22 minute commute to Fort Jackson."
