6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating Averagethis school is only focused on sports, getting rid of every art program to fund weightlifting. with the students being disrespectful and rude and not being stopped, constant fights in the halls, people skipping classes. every teacher buries the students in work that takes hours to finish, ignoring the fact that some of us have jobs and important things to do out of the building, the staff are immoral and stuck up, the principal does nothing other than stand around. not to mention the school getting rid of paintings from the 80's just to put up stupid low quality banners that are ugly and unfitting, the school is untidy having rats and roaches around, the old gym had not been cleaned since 2020 until last year when everyone had to complain. moral is i dont recommend this school the teachers wont teach you anything.Student Review2mo ago - Springfield Primary School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIn general I believe the teachers are kind and seem to care for the kids. There may be a few that are cold and are working only for the paycheck. The front office has rude women that don't even acknowledge that you are there. They cut you off, hardly smile, and brush any concerns you have under the rug. The principle is okay. She is not as nice or warm as the last one. I think they all could be a little more inviting to the parents and at least pretend they care. 3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son is finishing 4th grade, and was there all of last year as well. He has really been pushed and is exceeding greatly! He loves his teachers and always comes home happy! The PTO does a fantastic job raising funds for the school projects, and my son LOVES going to all of the special events. 6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy child’s IEP means nothing to this school. If the staff decides your child is a “problem” her/she is just sent away time and time again. Classic example of how the system is failing our children. It’s easier for them to send the child to a different room or send them home then assess the problem and find a way to help. Children with disabilities were born with these obstacles and never asked to be. They need help from their teachers finding ways to learn despite the obstacles. This school ignores these children and and prevents them from finding the tools necessary to becoming thriving educated young adults. Not to mention the daily fights and constant bullying that is ignored and swept under the rug. Would not recommend this school.Parent Review2y ago

"we love the neighborhood that we live in but the HOA is terrible. we have a park in our community and a pool but the streets are very small and the driveways are not large enough for people that have more than two vehicles. "

"Mount Holly is pedestrian friendly, has a burgeoning downtown, excellent parks, great access to the Catawba, and a strong civic minded culture. And, Gaston County offers the Highland School of Technology and the new Stuart W. Cramer High School as great options. "
