What Locals Say about South Hills

  • Trulia User
"Good neighborhood and w would recommend it to multiple family members and friends as I have lived here for many years. Even in my earlier childhood, you could say that this is the place that you would want to raise a little family. The houses are pretty old, but they are very well-maintained and not too close together. There is a well-rounded community here as well as my kids have grown up here and made many many friends. Would you say that you would be interested in letting your friends live in a very safe environment or neighborhood or would you rather them live with a community that no one speaks to each other or allows them to go to the park and play or ride bikes it’s just all around well together neighborhood."

"Not a very nice place. Few walkable areas. Lots of litter, small crummy park. No sidewalks throughout the majority of the neighbourhood."

"Great parks for dogs! Open fields and side walks! People do tend to drive fast so that would be my only complaint. "

"I love the house I rent but I’ve notice in the last month crime has increased. I’ve seen more guys all races with backpacks or on a bike or pushing a grocery cart. We have good neighbors so we do try to look out for each other. We even have people scoping the area in different cars & truck. I keep my eyes open all the time "
