"This neighborhood is all about location, parts can be neighborly and quaint while others feel colder and more like living on a highway. As someone who went through the high school I would say it is going downhill relatively fast but still with some decent academic programs"

"My neighborhood is minutes from the main hub of the LIRR in Babylon village. Deer Park Ave/Route 231 runs directly through deer park, Babylon and north Babylon w all major fast food places, supermarkets, nurseries and gyms as well as directly to LIE AND SUNRISE HWY. I grew up and went to school here and the town is a very close knit, family oriented town. Not only does most everyone I grew up and went to school with still live and raise their children here but also most of the businesses here are owned and run by them as well. We are also a very school spirited sports oriented town proud of our blue and white colored bulldog represented mascot teams! "

"The elementary schools are great but the middle school has had a lot of bullying going on for many years. There are so many children there who suffer from anxiety and fear going to school on a daily basis. "
