5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI can't say Aint enough good stuff about this elementary school. My. My son went from kindergarten to 5th grade without any issues. The teachers are so helpful, the counselor is amazing and the principal knows how to handle her stuff. The special education teachers go above and beyond to make sure that your child gets all the services they need. Such a huge parent Involvement beyond just the classroom. You really feel like part of a family here.Parent Review1y ago - Hardy Elementary School

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is a great school. My son has done very well, and standards are kept high. The teachers are highly qualified and professional. This is a very large school with a lot of kids, and no school is perfect, but this comes close. I'm looking forward to having my other son start there in a couple of years. There is also assistance in getting prepared for college for anyone who needs it. There is tutoring available, as well as Saturday school and summer school. There are social activities, dances, clubs, ROTC, and more. There is a public bus stop right on the corner for any student who needs a ride to or from the school.Parent Review1mo ago - Lewis Middle School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI am very happy with Lewis Middle School. My first son graduated a couple of years ago and now my younger son is in 7th grade. The grounds are clean, the staff and teachers are amazing, and my boys have been very happy there. High standards are very important to my, and I feel that this school has done a great job on keeping the expectations high. All of the resources you need are available including tutoring and counseling. There are social clubs after school, ASB opportunities, and after school activities such as dances and dine-outs. Lewis Middle School does an excellent job of preparing students for high school by giving them planners at the beginning of each school year, and teaching them how to keep track of homework and other assignments so that they can be organized.Parent Review1mo ago - Check out schools near 4835 63rd St.

"As a younger mother of two, I love living here because of the elementary school, the people in this area are friendly and mostly keep to themselves or their crew but everyone has a sense of respect and we have had a lot of fun living here. It is a college town though, so you have be cool with that! It’s nostalgic for me so I don’t mind! "

"There are many families but not very much holiday spirit. There are a lot of homelessness and drug addicts roaming around. Cars drive very fast I would NOT let my kids play outside unless it’s a secured, fenced yard. listened to police scanner and heard nothing but shocking events all nearby."
