This furnished apartment is located in Bethesda in southern Montgomery County, Maryland, northwest of Washington DC. Bethesda is one of the best-educated places in the US, and the National Institutes of Health, Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, and the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences are all located here. Thanks to its diverse population the area is brimming with restaurants serving up cuisine from all over the world. Bethesda has a variety of grocery stores and hosts two weekly farmers' markets. There's also Bethesda's Arts and Entertainment District, home to many art galleries as well as public art. If you're commuting in to work, it's easy to get to Washington DC from Bethesda on the Metro's Red Line.

    "Bethesda is a great neighborhood. Unfortunately the small business owners are being pushed out by the the larger corp. that have bought up so much real estate. Rents are very high and commercial rent is as well. Sadly it is slowly losing its neighborhood charm and it will soon look like every other cookie cutter block with all the same large corporation businesses. There is a homeless shelter that’s not well advertised on Cordell ave & Wisconsin Ave so you will see people begging for money on the regular. Great access to I459, the Metro and DC if that’s seen as a plus for you. "

    "I have lived in this neighborhood for about 4 years. This is a great area with excellent access to I495, DC and VA. Unfortunately the area is changing. All of the Mom & Pop places are slowly being pushed out and the same old big box companies are moving in. Tons of new building are going up over night here. A bit pricy. It’s a great place put you definitely pay for it. "
