"I’ve lived in this neighborhood for 27 years. The city does not do adequate maintenance on the infrastructure, subsequently our neighborhood has flooded twice in the past year. Houses can be purchased for far less than their replacement cost. "

"cultural diversity and economy is booming compared to most cities . Most of the great economy and housing market comes from the all the numerous oil refineries that employ alot of people here and drives the economy to above average and even boosting economy of cities in Louisiana closest to us . An old port town with lots of rich history . Local property taxes are the lowest around the area with private businesses popping up everywhere . Unemployment is low and the housing market is one of the best in the nation ."
