6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI personally have had a few bad experiences with this school. In one of the online meetings with one of the counselors and the principal, the principal was on the phone the whole time and muted. He was not really paying attention to my kid's IEP meeting, I was very sad to see this, counselor was a little bit embarrassed and apologized at the end of the meeting. In a different occasion, I had another counselor approaching my kid and interrogating my child like my kid was a criminal about an incident in the bus ride home. I followed up on this with the counselor, she mentioned she interrogated all the kids, I just think there are better ways to ask questions. When my kids started school at the Villa the rating was 8/10, no wonder why the rating keeps dropping. Small school and it has its advantages, but the staff needs better training and preparation. People at the front office have always been AMAZING.Parent Review5mo ago - Frost Middle School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageGreat school, top notch education. Teachers very involved. Staff are doing everything they can to make the experience a good one. Any issues are usually a student problem and thus the parents need to be more involved.Parent Review7mo ago - Woodson High School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAn excellent learning environment with teachers, guidance counselors and administrators who are engaged with their students on all levels and care about their success. All three of our kids had a great experience, both academically and socially. Lots of clubs and opportunities to volunteer and feel a part of the Woodson community. Offers many challenging AP classes and also has a great system to help those who need extra assistance.Parent Review6mo ago - Check out schools near 4510 Village Dr.

"Asking a Fairfax resident, or any Northern Virginia resident for that matter, about their "commute" is laughable. NoVa is one of the busiest areas in America. That said, commutes will vary depending on a variety of factors. My commute is great as I commute in the opposite flow of regular traffic. I go West while they go East in the morning. "
