8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy daughter has studied at Cabrillo since TK and is now in third grade. They are all great professionals. I do not understand how such a low grade is applied, as the problem is not the school, but the children. My daughter is 79% at the national advanced level. Small school and we love it.Parent Review2y ago - Correia Middle School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageTerrible school to work for. Students, specially 8th. Graders, along with parents are the ones manipulating the school. Students do whatever they want. Leaders prefer to attack faculty rather than face aggressive parents. Specialist will press teachers to pass students with educational disabilities, instead of support students’ needs. Not an ethical posture.Teacher Review1mo ago - Point Loma High School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWas a bit skeptical about sending my child to the PL cluster for Middle School. (Current 5th Grader.) I have been amazed how well my child has done. The changes in leadership were a bit scary at the beginning of the school year, however the team they have in place for long term is going to be great! Excited to see how they shape the next version of Dana. John is a caring and great leader. With his experience and vision, I see this becoming an even better middle school experience for the 5th & 6th graders in PL.Parent Review1mo ago - Check out schools near 450 Tavara Pl.

What Locals Say about La Playa

"Have not seen any dogs, cats, squirrels or any other four legged mammals. I have seen birds and fish. Dog owners who respect this boating community would find long walking opportunities with wonderful views. "

"This street is the best street in La Playa, private and tucked away, yet quick access to everything for the family. Travelers will love 10 minutes to the airport without the noise. Expansive views, Liberty Station has everything in a park like setting with walking/running paths, also Shelter Island. Schools - all levels, University, Yacht Clubs, Hotels, Restaurants, Banks, Grocery stores, Pharmacies, Yoga, Gym,Golf. A friendly very safe community."

"The LaPlaya area of Point Loma in San Diego is populated by many beautiful neighborhoods and many high value homes. The area is considered by many in San Diego and those who live there to be "San Diego's Best Kept Secret" for a community that enjoys beautiful Bay and City views as well as its wonderful proximity and quick access to many of San Diego's finest areas and attractions like Shelter Island, San Diego International Airport, Mission Valley, Downtown, Balboa Park, San Diego Zoo, San Diego's Yacht clubs, marinas, waterside parks and recreation. No need to commute long distances to San Diego's best features, there just minutes away from La Playa and yet one is secluded in a very special enclave of homes and neighborhoods."
