"Someone would steal your dog so I wouldn't have a pet at this house at all. I don't really have anything else to say about having a dog there. "

"There are not a lot of sidewalks to walk your dog. I do see some walking them however and it doesn’t bother them"

"Me and one other person on my street put up decoration for the holidays. Oak forest is NOT where I want to continue raising my kids, but since I have an eviction that I couldn’t control we can’t get into a better neighborhood. We are on our Ike with rent and make good money. We hear gunshots pretty much every night and cars speed up and down the road while our kids are outside. "

Like expensive things because people from all neighborhoods will take ur stuff. There aren’t home burglary’s so yeah that’s all a"

"I’ve lived in this neighborhood since I was a little girl. The neighbors have lived here for years. Most of them are elderly people but they’re sweet. Always looking out to help each other. "

"great place to raise a family ,stayed in this neighborhood for 20 years even had an elementary school at one point and parks located in a couple convenient spots not a bad place like people try to make it seem "

"While the location is good, the neighborhood itself is very, VERY loud. There is a lot of sirens (due to the close proximity to the police/fire station), but there is also a lot of noise coming from car stereos, people partying/yelling, and gun shots. There are also a lot of people (mostly near 12th street) that will approach you for money. It is not a safe neighborhood to walk at night. "

"It's nice in this area to live. People take walks and kids play. Local church has free car wash events. People do garage sales. Other than some loud cars going by it is peaceful in this Jacksonville, Smart Street area. I have been in this area for about 2 1/2 yrs."

"I lived on S Harrisin for a decade. Never had a break-in or vandalism. I made good friends with neighbors. It’s on the east side of the Fair Park neighborhood, and it’s a little rougher than the ones farther west, but there are some nice houses . UALR funded remodels of some cute houses to provide housing for students, professors in effort to attract them. There is a robust residents association that is working hard to advocate for the neighborhood."

"I've been here a year. It was ok on my block excluding the loud music from people riding bye until I got new neighbors. I'm now looking for somewhere new. "

"A quiet street with lots of great neighbors! Several lovely, older homes with unique architecture that are being restored. The location is excellent . . . just a few blocks from 630, hospitals, clinics, the shopping mall and a variety of good restaurants. Being this close to downtown makes Saturday trips to River Market a breeze."
