"Shady Hollow is a great suburb to live in if you have kids. Close enough to Austin central, but lots of greenbelts, parks, nature and wildlife. For nightlife and restaurants, head to central Austin, but for family fun, the parks, pools, and community activities can't be beat!"

"We have lived here for 27 years and having lived in many other locations in the US and Europe I can say that it has been the best place to live and bring up a family. The combination of available facilities (tennis, pool, community center), well run HOA, safe environment, lots of trees and a quiet neighborhood make for a very nice lifestyle."

"We have lived in Shady Hollow for the past 21 years. The neighborhood is fantastic, and well established, so there are are no suprises 5 years from now of what it might become. Great neighborhood schools, with lots of shopping and eateries minutes away. Southwest Austin is beautiful!"
