2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe previous review is clearly from someone who has not not researched thoroughly. A recent talk with SPHS teachers indicated that Isbell students are more knowledgeable than students from other surrounding middle schools, overall. This was particularly true in math and science. Isbell's new principal, George Alessi, has turned the school in the right direction. Students are very well behaved as evidenced by a national CHAMPS trainers comments after a recent visit. Work production is closely monitored by teachers and the expectation is that ALL work will be completed to a high quality. I am very happy with my child attending Isbell. Teachers are competent and caring and have good interpersonal relationships with the students. The school is a happy place where high quality learning takes place. 5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageBoth my children attended Mckevett school . This 100 + year school in the heart of Santa Paula has the most beautiful Mosaic Art done by the 4th grade students and their teacher Mr. Miller .Teachers and staff are amazing . I was a very involved parent and was able to see first hand the love and compassion the teachers and staff had for every student. Mckevett Staff promotes positive behavior and kindness. Pick up and drop off is not the best but easily can be fixed by parking and walking to the front of the school where the teachers walk their students out. ( one of the my best memories seeing my kids eyes when they spotted me )The principal along with every staff member assures that every student receive the best education and safe environment for every child.Parent Review2y ago - Santa Paula High

"Im not sure about public transportation. Its congested during peak hours. 7:00am to 8:30am 2:30-3:30 5:00 to 6:30. Other than that its pretty peacefull soecially up in the hills where we live. "
