"I've lived on this street for 32 years, the last 5 in a different house. I like it so much I didn't want to leave the neighborhood. The area is quiet, close to schools and stores, and rarely has there been any trouble. I have no problem letting my kids play outside and walk around the block. There are people of all ages and races, and most people say "hi" when walking past."

"My wife and I have lived here for 9 years now and it is a good neighborhood. Neighbors are friendly, and it’s usually pretty quiet and calm."

"When I moved here 25 years ago, I rented for two years while getting to know Lincoln. With intent I choose to concentrate my search for a home in Northwest Lincoln. For so many reasons I believed this was the best part of the city. I could have afforded a larger more expensive home but chose on other factors. I have never regretted it. Stable, pride in home ownership, clean, low crime.accessible to I-80 and downtown and shopping. Quiet, great neighbors, parks, trails, low traffic, wide open spaces. out of the rat race feeling. i have often considered buying another home but did not want to leave this part of Lincoln. When we do look it is only in this part of Lincoln. And did I mention low taxes?"
