Fast forward 20 years and I still feel that way. My daughter now attends this school after going to Washington middle school for a year. Their sports coaches are amazing, caring and supportive. My son does baseball and wrestling and the coaches build up these kids with great life skills. My daughter attends their softball camp and developed a love now for the sport! I love that they embrace not only skills for college but they support military and trades- I appreciate this since not all kids want to go to college. "I've owned my home in this safe west side neighborhood. There has been only one crime that I know of in my entire 30 years. My neighbors are diverse, educated and stable. I regularly walk to shopping and around Capital lake and even at night without fear."

"Very beautiful people. Awesome landscape. No issues with the are at all. A lot of homeless people but all of these are in downtown. Its a very decent capital of the state with good friendly charming and lovely people. Its hard to describe any city with such quality. "

"There are many street people and the bars are loud. It doesn’t feel very clean or safe. There is also quite a bite of vandalism and graffiti and the police do not even come out for that. I love my apartment and the view, but it is not easy to live downtown."
