2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe moved to the area from the valley and enrolled our children into Toltec Elementary and the administration is not use to working with the parents or even addressing concerns that are serious like forcing young Children who do not know what heat exhaustion is walk in 115°+ heat until they say stop. They only allow one option to pick up your child which can get expensive because of gas prices forcing us to wait in our car we’re not allowed to pick them up outside of the car or even step outside of a car. The administration can be very unprofessional and you can tell they are used to it being a small town where no one says a thing and they don’t take anyone’s concern serious. When we did they treated us like we were being crazy and even have a strong police presence at pick up just to enforce their bullying. They will use the police to bully parents. The administration even has their own kids enrolled and at a sporting event spoke disrespectfully about us parents in front of my kids and the sad thing is no one holds them accountable . It is my Goal to Work with the county and city and making the Eloy district a better place for EVERYONE. Not just those they favor. They do not have PTA And when they did finally organize it they made it right at the end of school when it’s impossible for a working parent to even attend it is very clear they do not want outsiders involvement and they will run the show as they please even when they are in the wrong.Parent Review1y ago - Vista Grande

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy daughter us a freshman at Vista grand. Apparently drugs drinking and sex go hand and hand here. She cries often and is stressed out because girls on one of here teams attend drunk and or stoned. She don't want to make friends because she doesn't do what they do. 3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy kids liked going to school and learning at their previous schools. A month in at arizona city and they hate school. They cry and ask if they can go anywhere else. So i am starting to look at options. I have sent one of the teachers an email to ask what is wrong in her class. "They would hate Eloy the cars drive too fast down streets and there is a neighbor who likes to shoot cats so it’s really not animal friendly. Plus the sales tax in this town is 13.1% Which makes it not a shopping friendly town either."

"I love my small town. I love that you can walk anywhere in 30 mins or less. I love that there's little to no traffic. not one stoplight in town. Just stop signs. I love how most people know each other. To me those are all great things. I plan to stay here."

"Neighbors are sociable, respectful of everyone’s privacy and the HOA always does a fantastic job for our community and is always respectful to owners. Freeway is a mile away. We are in a gated community. Police patrols the area. Nearby great family restaurants, including fast-food drive-thru restaurants. "

"I love this little town. No stoplights. If you don't own a car it's not a big deal to get around. Most people know each other and are usually friendly and you can make lifelong friends."

"Small towns are better in a lot of ways to me. I like the fact that I can walk to any place in 30 mins if I don't have access to a car. I like knowing most of the people who live here. I like the schools being smaller. Above all I like living so close to most of my family. We see each other at a few times a week if not more. "

"Eloy is a very quiet place. most people here are not rich. the homes are well maintained and peole mind there own business. there are hardly any open business here due to a bad economy so shopping has to be done in Casa Grande. there is a supermarket and a dollar general, post office, schools for all grades, library, community center and itm even has a public pool. hijinx is kept out of sight. the cops don't like trouble here and are always patrolling. theres a fire department , hardware store and assorted other businesses. it a quiet place to gat away from big city insanity. "

"This is a hidden jewel, it is largely overlooked by the general public because of the locked gate policy.. Homes are all well landscaped, no crime, no roberies, just wonderful views from the yards..Streets well maintained as are the common areas..."
