What Locals Say about Island Lake

  • Dawn T.
"It’s a clean family friendly community. I love living here. The neighborhoods are friendly and neighbors are always willing to lend a helping hand. The village office ladies are wonderful!!! The officers stop to talk to kids, the parks are fun and engaging for all levels (even some of us grownups get up there with the kids!). "

"Quiet neighborhood, friendly people everywhere. Me and my grandson meet new people at the park and have been able to have reciprocal play dates. Low crime rate!!! Excellent first responders!! They are quick!! It’s wonderful to know that when my grandson goes out to play with his new friends that he is safe in the back yard. This is a great place for that perfect small town feeling that I had growing up. "
