5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAfter transferring my children from a highly rated South Eugene school, I was concerned about the low rating on this website. However, I was so pleasantly surprised by the staff and the teachers that I have absolutely no regrets. I would highly recommend the school to anyone seeking a small classroom, one on one style teaching approach. The school has a great community feel and you can sense that from the very first day your child attends. They offer additional TAG work if you need it. They are currently upgrading the school grounds so it looks much cleaner, even though the interior of the school itself is always exceptionally clean and organized. 4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI graduated from this school, and unfortunately have had to watch it degrading over the years. I had to withdraw my student from the school before it literally destroyed his academic learning capabilities. From what I experienced the tenured staff, administration and counselors could not pass a psychological exam if it was required and are only there to instill political correctness in each of the students. More attention is provided and accommodations made for those students with issues than those without.For those parents looking for a good Sports program, this may not be your best choice. The school has gone down to a 5a school to accommodate its current coaching capabilities and poor sports achievements. If your child is the most important gift in the world, I would recommend investing additional effort into finding a better school, I have. "The commute to work is great... as long as traffic isn’t bad. River Road is very busy! The population is outgrowing infrastructure. Rush hour traffic makes it difficult to get anywhere fast. The drive to work can take 5 min or 20 depending on the day. "

"There isn’t a good dog park nearby, but you can walk your dog at the rodeo grounds fields at the end of Lancaster. There are lots of dog owners in the area & lots of neighborhoods to “street walk” in!!"

"I just moved into this neighborhood and love it so much already! My neighbors came over right away and introduced themselves and welcomed me to the neighborhood. It is very close to plenty of shopping and food. Very accepting community. "

"I live in a wonderful old neighborhood! Its a quiet area. But if your gonna have a backyard party, invite everyone around you. We know our neighbors and can hear the train at 11 pm. We don't have sidewalks, so we have to teach our children and pets how to walk respectifully. If someone is driving down our road we wave to them, because they either live here, are lost or visiting a friend!"

"i live here and its a well established neighborhood with mature trees and neighbors that have lived there very long, the bus stop is right around the corner, it's very pet friendly people walk their dogs around all the time and are friendly, neighbors look out for each other, very clean street, the schools are one of the best in town, their is lots of shopping right down the street and close to the malls, their is lots of street parking and as well as 4 people can park in their driveways, their has been no crime records in this neighborhood and Santa Clara has one of the lowest crime rate in Eugene/Springfield, their is a park and rec right in the area with activities, swimming, exercise room daycare, summer camps and kids activities just a great area for anyone young, old or with a family "
