It is also conveniently located, being: 1.5 hours from NYC, 10 Minutes from Kent, 20 Minutes from 2 NYC Train Stations: Brewster train Station & Pawling Train Station. The cottage has tasteful decor and a nature lovers exterior overlooking a lushly forested 2 1/2 acres on a town designated "Scenic Road" populated with farms, horses, and periodically grazing cows. A true serene rustic escape with access to our Private BEACH only 5 minutes from the cottage, a bike ride away (with f/t Lifeguard). This is a unique home and not a typical rental. Sherman is a hidden gem: it includes and is surrounded by numerous hiking trails, community theaters, farm stands, wineries and an incredible outdoor flea market. (also w/n driving distance of ski resorts). The Landlord will provide lawn maintenance and bi-weekly housekeeping/cleaning. Great weekend and summer retreat in a vacation wonderland.
