7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI saw these negative reviews and that compelled me to write one as well. This school is fantastic in my experience. My child is currently in 1st grade, so I can only speak to two grades. The teachers genuinely care, they are worth their weight in gold. They engage with the parents and it's a two way relationship, you can't just drop them off and expect to not put in any effort to ensure your child grows. I certainly didn't know what to really teach my child other than buying respective grade workbooks, but the programs have evolved where the child will bring the workbooks home to work with the parents. Considering that everyone has so much going on in their lives, it does provide a nice system to assist our child in developing. I really thought it was a great idea to have what they call the high riser program, where a child in the upper grades is something of a big brother/sister to a child in the younger grades. I can see it made a positive impact on my child and you can see the older kids hanging with the younger kids. Nothing like this happened at all when I was younger and probably most of the current adults as well. Team Venado from leaders, teachers, counsellors, staff as well as security officers work together and partner closely with parents keeping the students’ best interest in mind. "They would like all the open grass and parks to walk your dog. I feel like there aren’t a million other dogs but it’s a dog friendly neighborhood. People typically pick up after their pets as well. If dogs want to run in open grass they can here "

"Literally none. People duck in to their houses rapidly. We only have three people we talk to. This community is one of the most unfriendly I have ever seen. People walk right past and do not respond when my husband and I say hello. The neighborhood is clean and antiseptic. "

"I lived in the community for almost 6 years now. Quiet, safe and lots of walking area and backs to Peter Canyon trail. It has pool, basketball, volleyball , barbeque area, covered patio at the play area. Well maintained and neighbor-friendly environment. Good neighbor to raise kids."

"I love this community .It is gated, safe and quiet and tranquil. Tucked in the border of Irvine which is closed to marketplace, restaurants, movies school. It's mature, no mello roos and low tax. Big backyards and best community during Holloween "

"Having lived in the area off and on for more than 40 years, I have seen many, many changes. What has remained the same, however, are schools within every development -(even the new ones) and a strong sense of community.
