Description
This property is no longer available to rent or to buy. This description is from February 15, 2024
Change of events is the only reason seller is giving up this peaceful wooded setting. The 60 x 30 pole barn is perfect for storing big items. The 2.5 car garage has a new roof, heater, and a 230V plug. An 8 gauge wire was run from the house for a future garage or power upgrade on this one. Updates done to the home includes, new roof; new septic system; new 96% efficiency 2 stage forced air furnace; and new central air. A dishwasher and microwave were added to the kitchen as well as some new countertop and double sink. The new electric from before was upgraded. Previous owner had also added new flooring and fresh paint. Other updates include new light fixtures and a bidet to one of the bathrooms. The original owner had hand picked rocks for around the fireplace and garden planter outside. Next to the c/a unit is the external hookup for a portable generator. The home has a good floor plan with Living room, dining room, family room, kitchen, laundry, 3 bedrooms, and 2 baths on the main. There are 2 entrances to the basement area. With some sweat equity, the three rooms already there could provide additional living space. In addition there is a full bath and an area set up to add a kitchen. Great possibilities await so come see it today.

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageFor Van Buren County, this is one of the better schools. Having said that, they have some of the issues that the other county schools do: generational families who use the district as custodial, and apathy to any work or achievement beyond the state-required grade level. If your child is above grade level, they will most likely not be challenged, and will be mostly ignored academically as the majority of students struggle to make their state mandated achievement levels. The administration changed this past year, and has worked towards better procedures, but they are not even close to addressing the gap between the majority of students at or below level and the small minority above. They did not address these issues on a school wide level, and continue to teach to the middle. I am driving my children to Kalamazoo County next year.Parent Review11y ago - Paw Paw Middle School

Our exchange students have loved their experience and opportunities at Paw Paw as well. Especially the performing arts program. Not a lot of foreign schools have performing arts programs.Parent Review4y ago - Check out schools near 35590 S 23rd St.
