"This is a very safe neighborhood. The only reason I'm moving is because it is IMPOSSIBLE to find parking late at night and I work as a dj. So many people "save" parking consistently, even tho no one comes to park there but they take up 2 spots anyway. Not cool. Decently priced, but not a lot of nice homes. "

  • Lexx
"I have lived in Kearny, NJ since 1988 and it's a great mix of small town feel with all the convenience of city life. With new developments like gyms, markets, housing, Kearny is just growing to the modern demands of our future world! All major forms of transportation to NYC within walking distance anywhere in town. Fireworks for 4th of July off the famous sledding hill. Only drawbacks: As the popularity of Kearny grows quickly, parking is difficult. The High School and middle schools will need to grow as our community grows. Growing pains for a growing town! "
