What Locals Say about National City

  • Trulia User
"There are no community events, at least any that I know of. I've been living here for over 10 years and the only community event this neighborhood has shared with each other is the occasional taco truck sale."

"I’ve lived here my whole life and can’t wait to get out! Lots of homeless and drugs everywhere. No parking in local apartments because it’s multiple families living in one house so they park everywhere. "

"I’ve lived here since 1982. My family has 3 generations graduate from Sweetwater High. It has come a long way in urban development. My street I grew up on used to be a dirt road where cowboys rode horses down and ice cream men rang their bell to let you know he’s near. Now it’s grown beautifully, less gangs and less graffiti, Great Police Department, they are good guys that care. "
