3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is horrible. Horrible staff, teachers getting arrested from this school is very common, I was here 2016-2019 and since then i think 3? of my former teachers have been ARRESTED. Not to mention they do not try to HELP students, rather just punish them. Students constantly have drama and the office gets pulled into it, they do nothing but have the girls argue in their office trying to “sort things out” and when that OBVIOUSLY won’t work they throw around suspensions and lunch detentions like it’s nothing. It’s almost like teachers love to argue with literal kids at this school. They offer no help or support. Constant Punish. This isn’t all teachers i suppose; mainly the office staff. I recommend transferring to any other school.Other Review2y ago - Springfield High School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI attended Springfield High School all four years and graduated on time. My Senior year I had to take an independent study writing class because the school literally didn't have any writing classes left that I could take. My counselor told me they expected me to fail at least once.Parent Review1y ago - Check out schools near 325 25th St.

"Gets busy but not horrible. Buses run pretty well. Some express buses. Fair amount of stops. Connects with Eugene easily. The rush hour is usually 30 minutes unless there is an accident or other delay. But, if possible, I would take the bus. The roads are getting busier as time goes on."

"Springfield has pockets of homeowners who care, parent their children, and are responsible citizens. But there are other areas within the city that are sketchy. Not necessarily crime ridden, but just trashier. You have to know the area to know which neighborhoods are respectable. "
- Rhonda D.

"Make sure you have a Community that care. Also know the difference between common sense and stupidity when it comes to people and their neighborhoods. There are certain crazies in town, you need to make sure you know the whereabouts of your children and who are with them. Better be safe than sorry."

"easy access to public transit and close to downtown Springfield and eugene but its trash. there is graffiti and homeless people camping out and doing drugs in stairwells, bushes and under stairs. police sirens multiple times a day. I find needles in the park and laundry mat. stay far far away."

"The schools here aren’t so great and there not much to do like there is to do in places like Portland but there is beautiful places to go hikes. I grew up on the McKenzie and absolutely loved it "

"There’s a walking/bike path that goes a few miles. Starting near shopping and bus lines it goes around parks and school, even a tennis court. Lots of grass along the way for your dog to relieve himself. Most people are decent enough to clean it up. The path ends up over near a river and a new path that runs another direction along nature area with wildlife for your dog to bark at. "
