I attended Springfield High School all four years and graduated on time. My Senior year I had to take an independent study writing class because the school literally didn't have any writing classes left that I could take. My counselor told me they expected me to fail at least once.

There are 1500 students at this school. It is impossible for the teachers and administrators to keep on top of all of them. That means that students need to learn to speak up, and parents/guardians need to ask a lot of questions. I did a lot of assuming that it was the school's job to teach my kids

I've never felt so much of a need to not wake up in the morning. I am a grade A student who has already gotten accepted to college, this school has all but made me lose hope in my academic studies and the hope I had is all but lost. I would HIGHLY recommend not going to this lazy excuse

This school has a problem with drugs and fighting. They do not deal with fights fairly. You can send a good child there with Straight A's and in two years that same child wants to give up in life. There is also a lot of racism in the school especially if you are black. I have seem several damaged ki
