"I've lived in the town of Tamaqua my entire life. It's a decent small town.. the infrastructure like most small towns with limited budgets I need help here in there,. We have mostly good people and know our neighbors all across town not just the ones next door. There's a lot of school spirit and hometown pride.. as well as general pride in the coal region. A lot of things for the arts and leisure are starting to be introduced into town which I think is a really good thing. most of the home values are still reasonably priced as compared to larger towns and cities nearby. We do have our fair share of crime and the Nationwide drug problem has not left us alone either. We do look out for each other though and I think most people could be comfortable here"
