"many cool dog owners walk around the hood However major negative is rule in CC that no dogs allowed on beach ever. This means many younger folks will simply not move here which is a shame "

"I have lived in this area for 4 yrs now. It is close to the beach and river. Port Canaveral is only minutes away for cruising an nightlife entertainment. Surfing, kayaking and boating is just moments away. If you enjoy city life Orlando/Disney is a short drive away. It is a beautiful area with wonderful people and lots to do for both young and old. Why not live in paradise instead of just visiting it."

"We have lived lived in this area for 2 years and it is simply amazing. Some people dream of paradise ...we live it everyday. The beach is only minutes away and the river is feet away with access to the water for kayaks at Banana River Park. A great walking trail with exercise equipment for young and old can be found at Manatee Park. We walk the park at least 5 days a week and it not only is safe but it has amenities such as toilets, covered pavilion with tables/seats for entertaining and barbeques. A very long and beautiful raised boardwalk along the waterfront is a great place to see Manatees and Dolphins at play and yes there many manatees in this area. We have caught many fish in this area such as trout, redfish, catfish, ladyfish, sheepshead etc. The area is mix of families with children, couples and retirees whom are often seen at the park. The park also has events such as Movies at the Park for kids, Car shows, cultural, arts/crafts etc organized by Cape Canaveral Council who take great pride in this area. As can be seen on the map we are just around the corner from the Cruise ships so if you love cruises it is all there for you ie: Disney, Royal Caribbean, Carnival and Norwegian. The 528 hwy is around the bend takes you to Orlando in 30 minutes to enjoy all the Theme parks. Shopping is minutes away at 2 Walmarts Publix, Merritt Island Mall, Cocoa Village etc. All amenities are close such as Doctors, Cape Canaveral Hospital. Did I mention fishing? The Jetty at Port Canaveral, again minutes away has great fishing and you can also wave to the cruise ships as they pass by! Submarines can often be spotted now and then and the Jetty has a large camping ground with cabins or bring an RV or just pitch a tent and watch the Rocket Launches from across the port at NASA/Airforce bases.. What more can I say...Come see for yourselves ...We live in Paradise! See you soon...just look for the happy couple...thats us! :)"
