6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son was in special Ed classes!!! No email for the schedule, no informations about the quizzes, the tests! No emails answered when I ask questions ! No communication, except from two teachers where his level was good! And when I insisted, my son started to be bullied by the teachers. My name was even in the comments of his grade in Infinite campus! First, the responsible teacher tried to make everybody communicate with me, than the assistant principal and the principal but still, the communication became formal, by email from all the teachers, every Friday and so sneaky. Ex : ELA : this week , we work on the summary! No real communication was there, it was all game! my son was having really trouble with the teachers and accused for everything! He lost 20 pounds, had anxiety! It ended with the intervention of the board that took the school side ! End of the story, my son is now in 8 th grade, général regular class at WEbb Bridge! WE MOVED! Now , I’m dreaming! This WEbb Bridge middle school is fantastic, we are in the beginning of the year and I got everything without asking! It is magic! One of the teachers told me that she tried to reach Hopewell to know why my son didn’t get ESOL classes and and they told her: we don’t know! She called me to get my sons informations ! I’m finally released that he is out of that nightmare! Very hard year 21-22! My son is finally excited to go to school and he already bought a gift to his new maths teacher! If a parent is collaborating, special Ed classes would ask you to back off !Parent Review1y ago - Alpharetta High School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIt is unfortunate that AHS lets policy get in the way of common sense and student achievement. It is discouraging how AHS refuses to acknowledge when they make a mistake. It has a culture that too often doesn't exhibit very good trust or communication with students, parents, or the community. While many will do well at this school, the lack of accountability and the unwillingness to listen to students and parents, unfortunately, diminishes the school's reputation overall.Parent Review3mo ago - Check out schools near 288 Water Oak Pl.

"No mass transit so commutes are not good. I lived in a suburb of NYC for many years so I am use to long commutes, but the traffic in and around Atlanta is very bad and with no mass transit it means spending long hours in a car. "

"I’ve lived here for 7 years and although many are older and coupled up nobody bothers me. It’s quiet . Not much of a local social life for young singles but it’s family oriented and a safer neighborhood for kids and single parents. I moved up here to avoid traffic going to work. The cost of living is higher but beats sitting in traffic "

"Have lived her for 27 years. Much has changed, but much of the good remains. Denser development is confined to designated areas such as Crabapple, Birmingham Crossroads. Wonderful equestrian area with acre plus lots and a sewer moratorium to prevent density and mitigate ugly sprawl. Growth will come, but our community planners have done a great job."

"Scenic approach via Dinsmore Rd always makes us smile – the serene tree-lined North Valley scenery and vista is truly unique in Milton. Crickets and pond frogs chirping as the sun sets. Hot air balloons floating over the house. Views of $2M+ North Valley. Great neighborhood - access to pool and tennis, local events, access to new 140 acres+ Milton Greenspace which will become an equestrian/ bike/ hike trail, now on your own doorstep. Great schools and – important - many alternative routes to get from here to there including 400, Crabapple, Alpharetta Downtown and Avalon.and beyond."
